A yoga practice releases deep layers of tension,
opening body, heart and mind. It can enrich and deepen your experience
of meditation or hypnosis, bringing
balance, harmony, health and joy.
(Mindful Hatha Yoga
Blend)
This class integrates Vinyasa with the principles
of Yin and Therapeutic Yoga. It includes the philosophies and inspiration
of enlightened masters, ancient and contemporary. Therapeutic principles
will be a key part of this class. Expect self-improvement on all levels.

PUBLIC YOGA CLASS
DESCRIPTION (Note:
There is no Hypnotherapy in yoga classes.)
Raj Vinyasa Yoga (Hatha Yoga Blend): This is a blend of the best aspects of
modern yoga styles predominantly influenced by Vinyasa Flow and the
Alignment Principles of Anusara Yoga. It includes the wisdom of enlightened
masters and Patanjali’s Eight Limbs of Yoga. Students learn Asana,
Pranayama (breathing techniques), Meditation and deep relaxation and
restoratives.. All levels welcome.
If, and when
available, Amber enjoys subbing for
friends in the Los Angeles area.

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN YOGA AND HYPNOTHERAPY IS
COMPLEMENTARY.
Yoga is
a form of movement, meditation and breath work that enhances health of
mind, body and spirit. The traditional purpose of meditation is to observe
the mind and to ultimately reach stillness. Guiding the relaxed mind with the use of images and words,
for the purpose of creating desired positive changes in behavior,
performance and creativity, is hypnotherapy.
Yoga is Yoga is one of the best
ways to retain youthful, strength, vigor, mental alertness and balance,
while growing in wisdom, compassion and understanding. Hypnotherapy releases
habits and reactions that no longer serve us, motivating us and freeing up
our time and energy to accomplish our goals and desires.

OTHER
NOTES ON AMBER’S YOGA TEACHER TRAINING
Amber has studied with many masters
including with John Friend since 1994 with several hundred hours of teacher training.
She completed the Yoga Works teacher training in 1995, and keeps her training
and practice current. Amber has her own
private studio in Tarzana where she sees private clients with referrals. She
has helped her clients overcome normal and severe physical limitations,
watching them with joy, achieve and enjoy vastly improved health and wellness.
She is also a Certified Clinical Yoga Therapist.
